Attorney

After graduating at the Faculty of Law at the University of Maribor, the lawyer Robert Berkovič started working as attorney trainee in 1997. With completing the state bar exam in 2002 he successfully completed the court apprenticeship at the Higher Court in Maribor and as a lawyer candidate returned to advocacy. He started his independent attorney career on June 1, 2003.

As a lawyer in the Berkovič~Lorenci law firm he advises and represents legal and physical persons in the field of criminal, commercial, insurance, insolvency, civil and contract law. Besides classic advocacy he was managing projects for known clients from an idea to the final realization. Assisting at the project realization were the colleagues from the law firm and external experts. He is holding the certificate of ZNS (Slovenian Directors Association). As a lawyer, he regularly makes use of his English, Serbian and Croatian language skills and occasionally German language.

Being aware of the fact that one constantly needs to follow the ever-changing legal and life trends is the first step to success. Each new case represents a new challenge. Youthful energy, years of presence in advocacy and team work have led to searching for compromises and rational solutions for each individual client.

He graduated in 2008 on the University of Maribor (Faculty of Law), from Property Law. After graduating, he began his career as Attorney trainee in a Law Firm. The nature of the work and a strong wish for progress, formed his career decision which is he still following. He is known for persistence, the desire for justice and ability to listen about the problems. More additional skills, which are used today at the Law Firm Berkovič~Lorenci, he got during working in Public administration as a Legal Advisor and as a Expert Assistant of Enforcement department in District Court of Maribor. He is also a representative for Trademarks and Designs.
